Note on the price:
The price of this event is higher than our regular events because the costs associated with inviting Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche are higher. The invitation fee is paid to Rinpoche’s office, Nangten Menlang International, an Austria-based organization dedicated to the preservation and transmission of Tibetan Medicine, Buddhist Philosophy, and the Tantrayana healing wisdom through a wide range of teachings and trainings in the lineage of Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche.
Teaching topic: “Shiné – Traditional Tibetan Shamatha Meditation”
“Shiné – Traditional Tibetan Shamatha Meditation” is a practice which is peaceful and powerful at the same time. It aims to calm our mind and train it in a way so that it transforms from its usual active and agitated state into a calm and clear one that gradually allows for awareness to arise. As a result, our mind becomes more peaceful and less disturbed by both internal factors like thoughts and emotions, and external factors, like a stressful environment.
The Tibetan tradition has developed potent methodologies for improving the functioning and clarity of the mind. Over many centuries and countless hours, Tibetan masters have closely observed their minds, enabling them to come to know it intimately. What they discovered is that our mind has an innate awareness and calmness. However, having excessive thoughts and emotions causes us to lose that inner calm. When this happens we are no longer alert to what is happening around us, nor what is happening inside of us. Then we are just following our thoughts and emotions around like a wild elephant running after a monkey.
Knowing both – what is possible and what the challenges are – one can create a very effective program for training the mind and eliciting its natural powers. This is exactly what the Tibetans practitioners have done. They have forged a path that leads unquestioningly toward a calm, clear, highly aware mind that is ready to receive the highest realizations. The process to reach there is to first train our mind to be stable and functional. Then, with this stable mind, we do contemplative practices and receive insights into the nature of reality.

Kata Ceremony – Ceremonial Scarf Blessing:
During this teaching, Rinpoche will offer a short blessing ceremony. You can participate in this ceremony with a ceremonial scarf (Kata). Please approach Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche with the Kata folded in half and held in a prayer-mudra position. Rinpoche will then place the Kata over your head as a blessing. If you would like to take part in this ceremony, it will be possible to purchase the ceremonial scarf (Kata) on site.
Detailed info and what to take with you?
The seminar starts on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. and the seminar ends on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. The retreat is located in the center of Hrádek, Ústí nad Orlicí, Czech Republic (the exact address of the center including GPS coordinates will be sent to you by email before the event.)
Train: The nearest express train station is Ústí nad Orlicí
There is an express train from Prague every hour – the journey takes about 1 hour, 45 minutes without a transfer
From Brno and Olomouc there are also very frequent trains
From Ústí nad Orlicí you can order a taxi
Please bring:
1. Meditation cushion
2. Blanket and / or yoga mat
3. Comfortable clothing
4. Pen and paper for notes
5. Money in EUR or Czech crowns for purchasing the product
6. Sealable boottle
The price includes: Tuition, accommodation, breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner and drinks are included in the price of 495 EUR.
The food is delicious, only vegetarian, from our chefs.
Accommodation: There are only six double rooms available. A single room is not possible. The other rooms are for three or four people. All rooms have shared bathroom facilities in the hallway. The maximum capacity is 60 people.
If you want to share a room with someone specific, please write to us in the notes when ordering, we will try to accommodate you. The other rooms will be arranged as best as possible within the above capacities.
Cancellation policy: If you cancel the event at least 30 days before the event, you can get a 50% refund or send a replacement instead. If you cancel less than 30 days before the event, you cannot get a refund or send a replacement instead. If someone else comes instead of you, you must write this information at least 2 days before the event to the email office@sshantiheal.cz
